So I've only recently 'found' SPN. I love the show and the community here. I've tried to find people IRL with whom I can obsess with over the show but I've gotten the following responses:
- hate horror- too much blood and guts
- it's so misogynistic (at worst) or too testosteroney (at best)
- You're going to hell (at worst) or you're inviting Ouiji-like evil (at best)
Luckily, long before SPN, I knew that I was a misfit and that's OK (thanks Rudolf). Although new episodes are ending, I'll have many returns to my fav episodes (similar to my relationship with Psych, Merlin and Firefly). Thanks to the SPN family for making me feel at home.
